What does this Succession, Exit and Transition planning have to do with growing my business and making more money?

Many business Owners view the growth of their business in a straight line. I like to have business owners consider it a circle. If you keep your company five years or fifty years you are continually going through a cycle of Succession, Exit and Transition. When you start your company you have responsibility for all facets of your business. Over time others take on these roles and with growth teams or groups replace the individual. With each step a circle of Succession, Exit and Transition takes place for first you, then the individual who takes over that task and then the group or division/location. The key to success is written and revised Processes and Procedures.
